Each zodiac sign correlates to a constellation in the night sky. In our natal chart, the positions of the constellations and planets map unique positions and patterns. These positions (and the aspects to them) provide clues and context to our life journey.

The order of the zodiac doesn’t “start” in January as the western calendar does. Instead, the zodiac cycle starts with the fire sign Aries in the month of March. Pisces completes the sun cycle after each of the zodiac signs has had their “chance to shine”.

Here’s the exact order of the zodiac sun cycle:

1. Aries - Fire - March 20 to April 19

2. Taurus - Earth - April 19 to May 20

3. Gemini - Air - May 21 to June 21

4. Cancer - Water - June 21 to July 22

5. Leo - Fire - July 22 to August 22

6. Virgo - Earth - August 23 to September 22

7. Libra - Air - September 23 to October 22

8. Scorpio - Water - October 23 to November 22

9. Sagittarius - Fire - November 23 to December 21

10. Capricorn - Earth - December 22 to January 21

11. Aquarius - Air - January 22 to February 18

12. Pisces - Water - February 19 to March 20
